Why you need to pray at midnight.

Between midnight and 3 am is the best time to pray. If you keep waking up from a disturbing nightmare at 3 am it’s because you lost the battle during these hours. You are getting a glimpse into your own defeat which is happening in the spiritual realm. You must fight back yourself in the midnight hours to address these issues. The dreams will eventually change into dreams of victory where you may receive a key, defeat an enemy in battle or refuse eating in the dream.

Satanic activity is highest between 12 and 3 am, and it is also during these hours when power exchanges can happen. This is the reason why Paul and Silas waited until midnight to pray for GOD to bust them out of prison. There was a satanic aspect to why they were locked in there. They knew that they had to tackle it in the spirit if they wanted to get out. King David too knew the benefit of travailing at the midnight hours. He talks us in the Psalms about taking the night watches. It was at midnight that the LORD killed all the firstborn of Egypt in the time of Moses, and it was at midnight that Moses decided to go out into the midst of Egypt. Midnight is the time when we can reverse satanic decrees against us, recover any of our stolen virtues or break any curses. Prayers between the hours of midnight and 3 am are orders of magnitude more powerful then day time prayers. Samson waited until midnight until he took on the Philistines. He and the others knew that their spiritual warfare is most powerful at the midnight hour. This is a rule of engagement with the enemy. It is this time when the currently standing decree gets enforced. For example if there is a curse against you for early death you will likely die at the midnight hour. Yet at the same time this is the time when you efforts to overturn such satanic decrees will likely meet with the most success.

Follow the example of our Biblical forefathers and pray fervently at the midnight hour. Obviously you may have work commitments that make this impractical but if you have any urgent situations in your life try booking some time off and going on a prayer marathon. Take your life back and the life of your future descendants by force. In the name of Jesus.

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.”

~ Psalm 63:6 🌙

And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

~ Exodus 11:4

And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put [them] upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that [is] before Hebron.

~ Judges 16:3

  1. A year ago, I participated in a midnight prayer from 12-3 for the young generation. The creator of the event said that was the best time to pray for them.
